Hendersonville mom of two Juli Brenning celebrates the release of her second children’s book this month. Hitting shelves on Tuesday, July 12, children ages 3 – 5 can get their hands on Maggi and Milo Make New Friends (Dial Books for Young Readers; $16.99).

Written by Brenning and illustrated by Priscilla Burris, the story is about a young girl and her dog, Milo. The tale encourages little readers to make new friends while giving children examples of effective communication with their peers.
Your kids can experience the excitement of meeting the author on Wednesday, July 13 when Brenning will appear at Parnassus Books in Nashville at 6:30 p.m. to read the book to kids and sign copies as well. The free event also features light refreshments.
