Homeschool Family Day at Deer Run

Preregister to have fun outdoor with your family this weekend at Deer Run Retreat during the Homeschool Family Day Camp.

Deer Run Retreat in Thompson’s Station offers all kinds of retreats for families throughout the year. Coming up this Saturday, April 28 is a rain-or-shine Homeschool Family Day Camp. It’s shaping up to be a warm weekend, so temps should be perfect for the outdoor event. Bring a picnic lunch, a blanket, tablecloth, chairs and any thing else you may want in order to experience a day of camp with your family. Advanced registration is recommended and some activities are meant only for kids in grades 3 and higher.  Homeschool Family Day Camps is $12 a person and free for ages 4 and younger. Register here.

• Organized wiffle ball
• Relay races
• Arts & crafts
• Archery & BB guns
• Catch & release fishing
• Self-guided hiking
• A 45-ft. high climbing tower
• Creek play
• Sand volleyball
• Hover ball
• A wagon ride

Additional recreation for grades 3 and higher:

• Giant swing; $6 a person
• Paintball; $10 a person
• Zip line: $25 a person
