Calling All Families & Foodies! 
Get ready for a spicy good time at this year’s Music City Hot Chicken Festival, presented by Piedmont Natural Gas! Join in on Thursday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at East Park (700 Woodland St.) in East Nashville for a day full of flavor, fun, and festivities for the whole family.

Amateur Hot Chicken Contest – Parents, Think You’ve Got the Heat?

Think your hot chicken recipe could wow a panel of taste-testing pros? The Amateur Hot Chicken Contest is now accepting entries! If you’re 18 or older and have a knack for spice and sizzle, this is your time to shine. Bonus: Kids love cheering on their parents — especially when there’s a trophy involved!

Here’s What You’ll Get:

  • A fryer, table, and electricity provided

  • A chance to compete live at the festival in front of a crowd

  • Judging based on creativity, authenticity, and your fiery flair

  • Bragging rights and a trophy awarded on the big stage!

You Bring:
Your special spices, cooking utensils, and serving dishes
(And maybe a little dance move for the crowd? Just saying.)
