A new LearningRx Brain Training Center just opened in Franklin at the corner of Mack Hatcher and Cool Springs Blvd.
It offers a whole new prescription for children and adults who struggle with learning, memory, reading, thinking quickly or paying attention.
“LearningRx does for the brain what a physical trainer does for the body,” said Tiffany Leader, Owner of the new Franklin center. “We target and strengthen brain skills that impact our mental performance in every area of life, including work, school and sports. When these core brain skills are developed, learning is faster and easier.”
Many of the company’s clients are struggling students, although Leader explains that brain training is an entirely different process than tutoring. “Tutoring reteaches information but doesn’t address the reason the information didn’t ‘stick’ in the first place. Our programs address the root cause of learning struggles by working on the way a person thinks, reads, learns, focuses and remembers,” said Leader.
The programs have also worked with children and adults diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia, concussions or autism. “I saw the incredible changes that LearningRx made in people’s lives around the country,” says Leader. “I am so excited to be able to share the life-changing results of personal brain training with our own community.”
