Kids’ Art Classes at O’More

When your child spends more time creating art with her food than eating it, it's time to sign her up for an art class — summer sessions at O'More.

Art classes are great for the summer! Hurry to register your child for the Summer Studio classes with O’More College of Design. Created for kids in grades 1 – 5 (sessions are June 5 – 9 and July 10 – 14) and grades 6 – 12 (sessions are June 12 – 16 and July 17 – 24), choose either morning (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.) or afternoon (12:30 – 3:30 p.m.) slots.

Available Art Classes

A variety of classes are available. You’ll find “Discovering Photography,” “Fantasy Art,” “Jewelry Design,” “Fashion Marketing,” “Advanced Jewelry Studio,” “Good Enough to Eat: Food Art” and more. Advanced classes are available for older grades, too. See them on the website. Sessions are $200 each with a one-time $50 registration fee.

A gallery event for the Summer Studio happens at the August Franklin Art Crawl. Student works will also be on display in the O’More’s Robert N. Moore Jr. Gallery. Judges select the best overall pieces for ribbon and scholarship awards, too.

O’More is located at 423 Margin St. in Franklin. Check it all out at omorecollege.edu/summer-studio-registration.
