“The Amazing Castle” Exhibit to Open in Smyrna

Immerse your kids in a magical castle village, where they'll get to explore the many roles of a medieval community.

Hear ye, hear ye! The Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center (SOAC) is calling for all the Princes, Princesses and Knights to celebrate the opening of The Amazing Castle Exhibit on Saturday, January 17 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

“The Amazing Castle” Traveling Exhibit

Kids and families can explore the new exhibit, make their own crown or shield and more! The traveling medieval-themed play space for kids ages 4  – 8 includes activities like gardening, blacksmithing and cooking. Complete with costumes, props, and several themed areas, this exhibit encourages role-playing and collaboration for both kids and their grown-ups.

The SOAC is part of the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department and is located at 100 Sam Ridley Parkway E. in Smyrna. Programmers specialize in developing and presenting a variety of environmental education, recreational and outreach programs for all ages. 

The SOAC is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. SOAC admission is $4 – $7 per adult (ages 13-54), and $3 – $5 per child (ages 2 – 12); children younger than 2 are free.
