Get psyched for the 2017 Main Street Festival in downtown Franklin this weekend, April 29 – 30. Plenty of fun’s in store for all ages! Third Avenue North will be a free all-access Vintage Carnival Kids’ Area with carnival games, food, pony rides and a petting zoo. A performing stage for local performers will be set up at the Public Square. See the schedule of performers here. Lots more will be going on throughout the day, all centered around a juried arts and crafts show featuring more than 150 artisans and handmade creations including jewelry, pottery, furniture, woodworking, leather work, photography and more.

Enjoy Good Eats

Winding through the Main Street Festival, enjoy kettle corn, funnel cakes and other snacks. More than 25 vendors will offer an assortment of food including corn roast, barbecue, Greek, Mexican and more at three different food courts.

Music in Three Areas

This year, music takes place in three areas: The Guitar Center Stage on the Public Square; the 1st and Main Music Area on 1st Avenue; and inside the Mantra Beer Tent on 45th Ave. South.

Big crowds are expected. Offsite parking will be available at Church of the City and Harlinsdale Farm on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., but at Harlinsdale only on Sunday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Shuttles will service each location for a $1 a person each way. No pets are permitted on the shuttle.
