Make a Splash at Soaky Mountain Waterpark

The popular Sevierville destination opens May 10 with a brand new water coaster — Rafter's Rage!

Parents, mark your calendars and get those swimsuits ready! Soaky Mountain Waterpark in Sevierville kicks off the 2025 season with a splashing good time starting May 10 & 11. It will be open daily beginning May 17. The 50-acre family-favorite destination is approximately 178 miles east of Nashville. It makes for the perfect escape for kids to burn off energy and for you to simply relax in the sun.

New This Year at Soaky Mountain Waterpark: Rafter’s Rage

General Manager Dave Andrews says this season brings a game-changing new ride: Rafter’s Rage — a six-person raft slide that launches you from eight stories high, zipping through 825 feet of fun at 19 mph. It’s the first water slide in the world to feature four sideways-accelerating arcs for a unique, weightless drifting sensation. Think rollercoaster-meets-water ride — and yes, the kids will be begging to ride it again and again.

More Treats, Less Hassle

Feeding the crew just got easier with new grab-and-go favorites at Twist & Shout, serving warm, handmade pretzels like Cinnamon Sugar, Jalapeño, and even Pretzel Dogs. Quench your thirst with fresh-squeezed lemonade or a fun Icee. And for those early park mornings? Stop by the expanded Candy Cabin for fresh donuts and coffee — because tired parents deserve a sweet start, too.
