We’re in the mood for love … are you? The Franklin Theatre and Matt Logan Productions — the newly established company of award-winning director/designer Matt Logan — presents a special Valentine’s Day Concert. The event takes place on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14, at 8 p.m. in the historic Franklin Theatre.
Matt Logan’s Valentine’s Day Concert
Join Logan as he welcomes singer/actor John Mark McGaha and singer/actor Laura Matula to the Franklin Theatre stage. McGaha and Matula will sing duets about love and relationships. Surprise special guest artists are also a part of the romantically rendered evening.
Matt Logan, a co-founder of Studio Tenn Theatre Company in 2009, is a sought-after creative, known for his gorgeous costume designs, iconic caricature drawings in the style of Al Hirschfeld and more. Studio Tenn, one of only a few regional theater companies in Middle Tennessee, launched through the efforts of Logan and former Broadway actor Jake Speck. Together they collaborated with Emmy award-wining producer Philip Hall and former Broadway actress Marguerite Lowell Hall to launch Studio Tenn. Logan served as the theater’s artistic director for nine years. He has since produce numerous local concerts, costumes and more. Through Logan’s talented eye, Studio Tenn became widely regarded as having raised the artistic barre in the Middle Tennessee region.
Tickets for the Valentine’s Day Concert are $80 for the balcony, $90 for classic seating and $100 for cabaret table seating. The Franklin Theatre is located at 419 Main Street in Franklin. Get your seats and learn more here.
