To Own a Pug is to Love a Pug!
Show your pug a lot of love by bringing your furry pal to the very first Mid-Tennessee Pug Festival on Saturday, April 9 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the General Bragg Trailhead near the Murfreesboro Bark Park (1540 W. College St., Murfreesboro) — it’s free! Dog lovers from around the area celebrate everything pug with raffles, contests and family fun. The festival’s theme is “Movie Time, Pug Style!” and features a contest at 10:30 a.m. where the “Best Costume” pug receives a prize. There will be raffle tickets for a suggested donation and prizes awarded to the winners.
All proceeds benefit the Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue (a 501-c entity) that is constantly engaged in rescuing pugs and finding suitable “furever” homes for the dogs in need of a second chance at finding and bringing love and happiness.
All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations and must remain on a leash during the festival. Call 615-956-3801 or visit pugfestival.com.
