Middle TN Sinfonietta Presents ‘The Nutcracker’

Hear the festive holiday classic with dancers from the SoZo Dance Academy on Dec. 14 - 15.

Experience Tchaikovsky’s classic holiday tale — with a Murfreesboro twist! The Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta‘s fourth annual production of The Nutcracker returns in Rutherford County on Saturday, December 14 at 1 and 6 p.m. and Sunday, December 15 at 2 p.m.

Hear the festive musical suite played live by the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta with dancers from the SoZo Dance Academy at the Smyrna High School Theatre (located at 100 Bulldog Dr, Smyrna). 

About Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta

The Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta (MTS) is a volunteer orchestra dedicated to bringing musical and artistic experiences to the Middle Tennessee area. Founded in January 2021 by current Music Director Jeffrey Keever, the mission provides musical and artistic awareness through performance, outreach and collaboration. 

About SoZo Dance Academy

SoZo Dance Academy is a full-service dance school led by Anna Claire Rosson. Sozo’s mission is to provide dancers of all ages with a safe and positive environment to learn, and is a production and technique-based company, choosing to focus on art over competition. SoZo offers a variety of classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical and hiphop, and also offers private dance lessons for dance team tryouts, wedding dances and general technique.”
