Murfreesboro Little Theatre to Host the Bard’s Faire

Watch Orsino pine for Lady Olivia in this baseball-themed version of "Twelfth Night" ar The Bard’s Faire! Will he hit a home run or will he strike out in the game of love?

Murfreesboro Little Theatre is expanding its annual Backyard Bard Shakespeare festival to become the Bard’s Faire, happening on the grounds at Oaklands Mansion (900 N. Maney Ave., Murfreesboro).

The event runs Thursday, August 13 through Sunday, August 16 and then again Thursday, August 20 through Sunday, August 23.

In addition to vendors and food trucks starting at 5 p.m., attendees can enjoy an outdoor, baseball-themed performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night starting at 7 p.m.

This event is free with a suggested $15 donation thanks to the TN Arts Commission.
