Murfreesboro to Celebrate Juneteenth on June 20

Celebrate Freedom Day with live entertainment, vendors, educational and children's activities, games, food trucks and more.

This year’s community Juneteenth celebration, presented by Cultural Arts Murfreesboro, will take place on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center (415 S Academy St, Murfreesboro).

The free, family‑friendly event will feature food vendors, artists, live music, dancing and a Kid’s Zone filled with games and activities.

“We are looking forward to another excellent celebration of community and culture as we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans throughout the former Confederate States of America!” states Cultural Arts Murfreesboro.
