Sumner Music Together, the popular parent/child music-and-movement class, now offers a new Big Kids Program for ages 5 – 7. Aside from the first class where parents are present, the Big Kids classes transpire in the room without Mom or Dad with the exception of each session’s final 10 minutes.
The six-week summer semester for big kids as well as the Litte Kids Program for infants through 5 years starts Wednesday, July 20. Choose a day/time that works best for you: Wed 10 a.m., Thu 10 a.m., Fri 9:30 or 10:30 a.m., or Sat 10:30 a.m.
Classes on Wed – Fri take place at the Creative Music Center (366 W. Main St., Henderonsville), and the Saturday sessions are at the Delmas Long Community Center (200 Memorial Drive, Goodlettsville).
The Music Together program costs $112 for one child, $60 for a sibling, free for a third child; babies 9 months and younger are free with a registered sibling. The tuition includes the weekly class along with materials to use at home, including an online curriculum and support materials through the new Music Together app.
