Summer enrichment never has to stop for kids, and a new endeavor called MusiCity Kids can help with that. MusiCity Kids is a half-hour educational show for kids ages 6 – 12 featuring many of Nashville’s educational content providers. The program is available via Facebook Live through a new production company called BlueWonder Creative. Executive Producer and Tamara Fyke hosts episodes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 a.m. with topics including physical education, financial literacy, science, music, physical and mental health, hand-eye coordination, character education, entrepreneurship and more. Fyke, who holds a masters degree from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development, developed MusiCity Kids after years of work with Vanderbilt’s Center for Safe and Supportive Schools.
“We are collaborating with Nashville’s educational leaders, non-profits, musicians and small businesses to serve children and families,” says Fyke.
