90 years is a very long time to be around for any organization, let alone a children's theater. That's why Nashville Children’s Theatre (NCT) is celebrating their 90th anniversary season in a special way this holiday season.
Founded in 1931, the oldest professional theater for young audiences will be premiering its taped Pete the Cat production on Sunday, December 6 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. CT with a live red-carpet component hosted by NCT’s Executive Artistic Director Ernie Nolan.
“We know this has been a difficult time for the community, and we want to continue to provide smiles and entertainment to those who need it most,” said Nolan. “Despite the pandemic, NCT continues its mission to create transformational theatrical experiences that reflect our evolving community, instill profound empathy and foster personal discovery for the young people of Middle Tennessee, and now, thanks to technology, beyond!”
During this 90th anniversary celebration, guests will be able to participate in a live, digital auction and text-to-donate capabilities will be available.
Guests will be able to pre-order party packs for their friends and family. There are four package tiers for the event:
- Stream Tier – Includes streaming link for the event
