In its 30th year of publication as Middle Tennessee’s number one source of parenting news and information, Nashville Parent continues its winning streak with more Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. Nashville Parent brought home eight national awards from the 2023 Parenting Media Association’s (PMA) annual conference that took place Nov. 3 – 4, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.
The PMA is a nonprofit trade organization that represents the regional family media market. Parenting publication members from across the nation submit hundreds of entries for Design and Editorial Awards encompassing their best print and digital products of the year. Professors from the prestigious Missouri School of Journalism, located at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, judge the entries.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized for our contributions to Middle Tennessee families,” says Susan Day, editor in chief of Nashville, Rutherford and Williamson Parent magazines. “Since we’re now celebrating 30 years in print — this just makes it all that sweeter!” she adds.
Nashville Parent is published by Day Communications, Inc., a local family-owned company comprised of editors, designers and sales staff. Pick up the monthly print edition of Nashville Parent and its sister publications — Rutherford Parent and Williamson Parent — at more than 1,600 distribution sites around Middle Tennessee.
