Where Every Family Matters

Nashville Predators Library Cards are Here!

Starting Monday, Sept. 30, you can show your Preds pride with Nashville Public Library.

Your love of reading and passion for the Nashville Predators are now a combined force. Take your Preds fandom to a new level with the new GNASHville Public Library card featuring Nashville Predators mascot GNASH.

There are two new card designs. The cards make their debut Sunday, Sept. 29 during PredsFest. Nashville Public Library (NPL) staff will be at PredsFest at Bridgestone Arena. If you're a Davidson County resident who doesn't already have a NPL card, you can get one during the event. Already have a library card and want to swap it for the new Preds card? No problem!

The new cards will also be available at NPL library branches starting Monday, Sept. 30. If you want one, make haste, because supplies are limited.

GETTING A CARD

Library cards are free for all Davidson County residents. For a full access card, present your ID and proof of address at any Nashville Public Library location. For access to online materials only, individuals 13 years and over can register online.

Valid forms of ID include driver's license or learner's permit; school ID (if 17 or younger); military ID; passport; ID only with date of birth. Acceptable proof of address include mail postmarked within the last month; pay stub dated within the last month; utility bill dated within the last month; voter registration card; current lease/deed agreement.

If you live outside Davidson County, you can receive a free library card to check out physical items only, or you can pay a $10 yearly fee to obtain access to online resources in addition. To get a card, present your ID and proof of address at any NPL location.

CHECKOUTS

A NPL card packs a punch since it allows you to check out up to 100 items (including up to 10 DVDs or 10 Playaways) at one time. Overdrive, Hoopla and other digital items do not count toward the 100-item limit.

You may return materials to any NPL location or book drop.
