Where Every Family Matters

Nashville Shores Kids Fest

Fun activities for kids of all ages out of the water.

Nashville Shores, Middle Tennessee’s biggest water park with more than 1 million gallons of fun, has even more fun this week for children.

Through Friday, July 14, Kids Fest takes place from 12 – 4 p.m. each day. It takes place at the far end of the park near the lakefront. Children of all ages can interact with costumed characters. Also on tap is a live science show from 1 – 2 p.m., Sean the Balloon Guy from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., and soccer games/lessons from 12 – 4 p.m. (July 11 – 13 only).

COSTUMED CHARACTER SCHEDULE

Children can enjoy princess meet-and-greet opportunities each day from 12:30 – 2:30. The lineup includes:

• Tuesday: Ariel & Belle
• Wednesday: Cinderella & Prince Charming
• Thursday: Snow White & Rapunzel
• Friday: Elsa & Anna

MORE KID FEST FUN!

Throughout Kids Fest each day, all ages can participate in arts and crafts, bounce on inflatables, compete in hopper ball races and hula hoop contests, enjoy face painting, play video games and more.

Kids Fest is a perfect way to dry off under the sun’s beams after a thrilling time spent in the various water attractions. Speaking of those, Kowabunga Beach and Barefootin’ Bay are the sweet spots for little kids. Each is akin to a schoolyard playground, but these feature wading pools and water hoses spraying everywhere. Both allow parents to keep a close eye on their children, as beach chairs line the perimeters.

But you won’t have to worry about that too much. There is always a lifeguard present at the top and bottom of every water slide, pool and play area, ensuring that your child’s safety is a top priority.

IF YOU GO

Kids Fest is free with Nashville Shores admission — $36.99 those 52 inches and taller, $28.99 those 51 inches and shorter, free ages 2 & younger.

Nashville Shores is located at 4001 Bell Road, Hermitage. Call 615-889-7050 or visit nashvilleshores.com.
