The Nashville Sounds is well known for its community engagement efforts during baseball season. One of the team's coolest ways to include fans is by inviting them to sing our National Anthem at home games.
The Sounds are now accepting audition submissions via mail and online. That's right, the team no longer holds in-person auditions. Anyone of all ages can participate. Individuals and groups can take their shot — encourage your child's classroom or Scout group to enter. Consider any social group you or your kids belong to, and don't overlook just your family chiming in together.
AUDITION INFO
You will need to submit an a cappella (no music) performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" and/or "God Bless America" to the Sounds either online or via snail mail (sending in a DVD or audio CD). Your National Anthem performance must not exceed one minute and 30 seconds.
Whichever route you go, you'll need to include all of the following info:
• Performer/Group Name
• Age(s)
• Contact's E-mail Address
• Contact's Phone Number
• Mailing Address
• Previously Performed the Anthem at a Sounds Game (Yes/No)
Note: If you have participated in the past, you will need to submit a new audition.

OPTION 1:
Send a package with your name, address and phone number, along with your audition on a DVD or audio CD to:

Note: Audition CDs/DVDs will not be returned, so make a copy for yourself.
OPTION 2:
Send an e-mail with your name, address and phone number, along with your attached audition file or YouTube video link to anthem@nashvillesounds.com.
There is no submission deadline. The Nashville Sounds will review all submissions until all the home game singers are booked. Anthem performance opportunities are limited and not guaranteed. The Sounds provide a select number of comp tickets for performers, but large groups are required to purchase tickets.
