ANDREW JACKSON’S HERMITAGE, NASHVILLE
Happening Easter weekend, April 18 – 20, this program is historically rooted in a Jackson family story that is, well, a bit unfortunate for “Little Rachel” Jackson, the granddaughter of our nation’s 7th President. After a long day of dying eggs for a fun Easter egg hunt at her school, rats threatened to put a sour note on the festivities when they ate the eggs! In this interactive scavenger hunt, the young (and young at heart) are invited to help find the rats who are hiding throughout the mansion. Once all of the rats are found and marked on a map, visitors are invited to return their map to the Museum Store in exchange for a small token of their appreciation.
