Where Every Family Matters

New at Day out with Thomas

Thomas the Tank Engine makes his way back to the rails of the Tennessee Central Railway Museum, Sept. 1 - 9.

There’s a lot more steam coming down the track with this year’s Day Out With Thomas event at The Tennessee Central Railway Museum.

THE BIG ADVENTURES TOUR BRINGS MORE FUN

The “Big Adventures Tour” promises a bigger, better experience for little ones and their families. Taking place Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 1 – 9, the centerpiece of the event remains the same: a 25-minute train ride pulled by Thomas the Tank. In addition, kids can also chummy up to Sir Topham Hatt for photo ops.

The $20 per person ticket (all ages) now includes additional activities like arts and crafts, train table play, a petting zoo, temporary tattoos and more. New activities this year include three giant inflatables, eight-hole mini golf, Thomas storytelling, a video viewing area, rubber tire train ride, and HO- and N-scale operating model railroads.

Train rides depart hourly from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Get your tickets in advance, because this popular tot outing sells out. Be prepared for the exit through the museum; it transforms into a mecca of Thomas merchandise!

The museum is located at 220 Willow St., Nashville. Call 615-244-9001 or visit tcry.org.
