Ivybrook Academy offers a curriculum based on collaborative learning. Kids learn in Montessori-tailored groups, Reggio Emilia-inspired project work and a Discovery Program. Classes include music, Spanish, creative expression and library.

What's in a Class?

In music class, kids enjoy an environment of sound and movement. They create connections through the improvisation of rhythm and tone. Kids learn to appreciate various musical instruments and styles, too.

Spanish class is all about the development of auditory, visual and conversational skills. Don't worry, it's fun for the little ones, too. Kids gain exposure to elements of Spanish culture. They'll experience colloquial dance, dress, art and architecture.

In Creative Expression class, kids explore various artistic styles, mediums and tools. Major forms of artistic expression from the ancient world to modern day are topics, too.

Finally, Library shows kids the value of literature. Kids explore various authors and genres. Also, kids learn to distinguish connections between text and illustration, and more.

What is Ivybrook Academy?

Ivybrook is also an NAEYC accredited preschool. It aims to transform your child’s educational experience from ordinary to extraordinary.
