New Halloween Show for Littles ‘Click, Clack, Boo’

Bring your little ones to Nashville Children’s Theatre for this outdoor production perfect for fall — there's even hay bale seating!

Nashville Children’s Theatre has unveiled its world premiere of Click, Clack, Boo: A Tricky Treat!, which runs through October 30 of this year.

The musical features Farmer Brown — a nonadmirer of Halloween — and his barnyard animals, Duck, Pig, Cow and Hen. The animals decide to throw a festive party featuring apple-bobbing, bottomless candy bowls and a costume contest that they are sure will turn Farmer Brown into a Halloween fan.

“After the success of other outdoor productions, NCT is so excited to be offering this world premiere musical in the Candy Corn Canopy right next door to our building,” said Executive Artistic Director Ernie Nolan. “This toe-tapping, family-friendly musical is indeed a ‘tricky treat!’ Catchy songs and a fun Halloween vibe… we can’t wait for folks to come in costume and walk our Halloween Runway after the show!”

The play was adapted by Nolan from the original book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.

Wait. Where is the show?!

Click, Clack, Boo! is presented at the main NCT facility (25 Middleton St, Nashville, 37210), but this is a special production held outdoors in the “Candy Corn Canopy”! The canopy is located on the side of the building, to the left of the main entrance (please see attached photo below). Will call, concessions and merchandise is available at the entrance to the Canopy, while tickets may be purchased at the box office inside.

Additional information about the show can be found at nashvillechildrenstheatre.org/click-clack-boo.
