The new year will bring two new music-and-movement offerings to Jan Williams School of Music & Theatre in Brentwood. Starting January 2019, parents of little ones ages birth – 3 years can enroll in Music for Mommy & Me class or Tunes for Toddlers — both take place in 12-week sessions. During Music for Mommy & Me’s weekly 30-minute sessions, you and your infant (ages birth – 18 months) will experience rhythmic musical games, lullabies, bouncing songs, message songs and more. Consider it a springboard for stimulating daily music making and early childhood development. As Baby grows, the school will also offer Tunes for Toddlers (ages 19 months – 3 years). Parents and toddlers share in this weekly, 30-minute music-making program of rhythm, fingerplays, active-movement games, keyboard exploration and singing.
