Where Every Family Matters

Oaklands Mansion Reopens to the Public with April Events

Oaklands reopened to the public on April 1 with an exciting 2021 calendar of events that focuses on getting folks outdoors!

Oaklands Mansion is nestled in Oaklands Park, a native tree arboretum and natural wetlands, including the Maney Spring which offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

“Oaklands Park is downtown Murfreesboro’s largest natural wetland area and is a rarity for such a densely populated community,” says Connor Moss, Special Events Representative & Master Gardener at Oaklands Mansion. “The park provides a fascinating study area for both its wildlife and plant-life, and late April is wonderful time to visit.”

Self-Guided tours at Oaklands Mansion are available by reservation Tuesday – Friday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Reservations must be received at least one hour before tour time.

They recommend guests allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for the self-guided tour. Visitors are encouraged to wear a mask. Cost is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for students age 6 and up. Children 5 and under admitted FREE.

Tickets are available at oaklandsmansion.org.
