Where Every Family Matters

Paint Now for Cookin’ to Build

Stop by one of two pottery places to colorfully decorate your own bowl to use for a special event that raises funds for a good cause & fills your belly!

While the Eleventh Annual Cookin’ to Build benefiting the Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity takes place in November, you can paint a bowl now to be used during the event!

Head to either Murfreesboro The Pottery Place locations (2615 Medical Center Pkwy., Ste. 470 AND 149 Wendelwood Drive, B1) through Monday, Oct. 15. Pre-purchase an event ticket and paint your bowl; bowls are $5 (plus tax) and event ticket is $20. Once you paint your bowl, it will be at a designated area the day of the event for you to pick up and use.

Eleventh Annual Cookin’ to Build

Held on the Historic Murfreesboro Town Square, the Eleventh Annual Cookin’ to Build takes Saturday, Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 (includes admission, a bowl to take home AND “all you can eat” from the excellent cooks).

At the event, stroll around the Murfreesboro square and use your bowl to sample chili and soup while listening to live music.
