Presented by Nashville Wine Auction, this three-day series of delectable events takes place Feb. 24 – 26 for all wine enthusiasts and collectors. While the Pairings weekend isn’t for kids, it makes a perfect opportunity for date night, so book your sitters now. “The line-up of vintners for this 10th anniversary of Pairings is absolutely incredible,” says Loren Chumley, president/CEO of the Nashville Wine Auction. Events for Pairings Weekend
• THUR., FEB. 24: Pairings. This consists of three nights of wine-focused events starting with Private Vintner Dinners in fine restaurants and private homes throughout Nashville.
• FRI., FEB. 25: Wined Up! at City Winery. Nashville’s largest upscale wine-tasting party featuring 29 vintners from the West Coast in addition to the Collectors’ Showcase beginning at 5:30 p.m. ($300 per person) which allows collectors a tasting of eight additional wines. Wined Up! starts at 6 p.m. and is $150 per person.
• SAT., FEB. 26: Pairings Dinner and Live Auction at City Winery. Enjoy a five-course gourmet wine dinner and bidding in the Live Auction. The event starts at 6 p.m. with a Wine Reception and hors d’oeuvres; dinner and Live Auction start at 6:30. Tickets are $350 per person.
