What little girl doesn't want to be a princess?
Oaklands Mansion — holding the 9th annual "Wedding Dresses Through the Decades" January 17 through March 1 — is also holding a very special night for girls on Friday, January 24. From 4 – 7 p.m., girls can wear their favorite fancy dress or a princess costume and enjoy the "Wedding Dresses Through the Decades" exhibit in style.
"This is a great daddy/daughter outing as well as a grandparent's day out, and is wonderful for all ages," says Mary Beth Nevills, education director at Oaklands. "Your princess will love being the center of attention for this special showing of big fluffy dresses and tiaras that sparkle," she adds.
Girls can come any time during the three-hour block and enjoy princess crafts on site. Tickets are $10 per person; ages 5 and under are free. Purchase your tickets here.
Oaklands Mansion is located at 800 North Maney Avenue in Murfreesboro. For more information, call Nevills at 615-893-0022.
