The season of fall festivals is finally here, and in Hendersonville, the Pumpkin Patch Festival at The Streets of Indian Lake is a surefire hit with families.
Sumner Parent magazine sponsors this year’s festival is on Saturday, Oct. 8 (rain date is Saturday, Oct. 15). There are a lot of fun activities to enjoy like costume contests (10 am., 11:45 a.m. & 12:45 p.m.), a carnival game center, an obstacle course with inflatables, face painting, a Halloween and harvest photo backdrop area, Bruce Amato’s magic show (11 a.m.) and more.
This year’s live musical entertainment is the TYME band, performing at 10:20 a.m., 12 and 1 p.m. — dance-off contests take place while the band plays.
Of course, kids will want to visit the pumpkin patch where ages 9 and younger can pick one out for free and have fun decorating it before they leave.
The Pumpkin Patch Festival runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and is located at 300 Indian Lake Blvd. Visit streetsofindianlake.com for more info.
