Puppy Love Dog Fest

Kids can have their faces painted canine-style this weekend at the Puppy Love Dog Fest fundraiser for Independence High School in Thompson's Station.

Pet and people contests, a Kids’ Zone, photography and art competitions and more make up the Third Annual Puppy Love Fest, Independence High School’s annual fundraiser that’s all-things-pooches and owners taking place from 1 – 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 at Independence High, located at 840 and Hwy. 31 in Thompson’s Station.
Vendors will provide competition for students from area schools with submissions judged in grade-level groupings. As for the dogs, contests include “Most Obedient,” “Best Groomed,” “Dog-Owner Look-Alike,” “Best Kisser” and “Most Talented.”
Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for students; kids 3 and younger are free as are the pooches. Pre-register your dog for contests at puppylovedogfest.com.
