While it still feels like summer at the beginning of November,it doesn’t need to be traditional camp season for kids and families to have fun out at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan at Percy Priest Lake in Antioch. This month and next, Widji offers four outings, and registration is now open for each:
Family Ranch Weekend
Nov. 11 – 13 (overnight)
Ages 7 & older • $175
Ride horses and learn to care for them, build campfires, enjoy s’mores and other activities.
Fall Day Camp: Campsgiving
Nov. 21 – 23
7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Ages 5 – 12 • $45 per day
Create a Thanksgiving costume, make candles, build forts, race down the zip line and more.
Overnight & EQ Camp:
Epic Winter Adventure
Dec. 9 – 11
Ages 7 – 13 • $150
Build gingerbread houses, decorate cookies, create ornaments, compete in the Downhill Reindeer Races and more.
Shoppin’ Drop-In
Friday, Dec. 23
7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Ages 5 – 12
$50 for four hours or more $25 less than four hours
While you wrap up your Christmas shopping, the kids can create a s’mores village masterpiece, compete in zip line races and more.
