Kids in grades K – 7 can get in on the fun of the St. Jude Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon (formerly the Country Music Marathon) by participating in a pint-sized non-competitive version with Kids Rock Nashville.
Presented by YMCA of Middle Tennessee, Kids Rock Nashville is a go-at-your-own-pace event where children will accumulate 25.2 miles of running on their own prior to the final mile on Sunday, May 1 with fellow marathoners at Nissan Stadium.
Participants have access to an online training guide with tips, nutrition info, proper stretching and more.
Registration is $30 at RunRocknRoll.com. Save $5 on registration by using the code NASHKIDS16 when you sign up your child. Mom and Dad, if you want to get on the fun of a race and plan to run in either the full marathon, half marathon, you can save $15 on your registration by using code NASHPARENT16. The discount codes are valid through Sunday, April 24.
