Rivergate Mall’s helping kids and families get ready for back-to-school season on Saturday, July 21. Head over to Goodlettsville for the mall’s Fifth Annual Back-to-School Expo & Book Bag Giveaway.
Sumner Parent and Nashville Parent sponsor the free event taking place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the mall’s center court.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL EXPO ACTIVITIES
There are lots of activities on tap during the event that includes several vendors. RiverGate is giving away 700 book bags filled with school supplies for kids in grades 1 – 5. Children in those grades will receive a special punch card at the event. Once they visit each of the vendors to get their card punched, they can then swap out the punched card for a book bag (while supplies last). The vendors will have more supplies and toys to pick up at their booths to add to the fun.
Kids can pose for photos with Spider-Man, Tony the Tiger and Princess Elsa. Other activities include mini golf, face painting, balloon art and bounce houses.
In addition, a fashion show with Ambassadors and Social Graces by Gilda takes place at 1 p.m. featuring looks from Dillard’s JC Penney and Macy’s.
