Spruce up Fido and find something fun for him to show off during the Salty Dog Festival on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Goodlettsville City Hall Park.
The Goodlettsville Chamber hosts the event, formerly known as the Arts, Antiques & Music Festival. The festival’s name change comes from the founding of Goodlettsville’s discovery of two salt licks along with the uptick in families bringing their furry, four-legged members to the festival.
The free festival takes place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and before the festivities, you can participate in the Stop, Drop & Run 5K. The festival showcases the best in local antiques, art and crafts.
Expect live music throughout the day, a Kids’ Zone with several activities, a dog costume contest, a petting zoo, food and more.
The park is located at 105 S. Main St., Goodlettsville. Learn more at 615-859-7979 or goodlettsvillechamber.com.
