Cheekwood’s annual Spring Art Hop marks its 24th season on Saturday, March 26 as part of its month-long Cheekwood In Bloom extravaganza running March 19 – April 24.
Spring Art Hop combines Easter-themed events along with fun, outdoor springtime activities and art-making fun for kids of all ages. Throughout the day, your family can enjoy a variety of garden games in Howe Meadow, ‘Art’ivities and face painting in the Frist Learning Center Courtyard, meeting the Easter Bunny as he roams the grounds, visiting with live bunnies and participating in Easter egg hunts every hour in Mustard Meadow and Wills Garden.

The Easter egg hunt schedule is as follows:
WILLS GARDEN
Ages 3 and younger
Every hour, beginning at 10:30 a.m.; last hunt is at 3:30 p.m.
MUSTARD MEADOW
Ages 4 – 7 & Ages 8 and older (same location but separated by age group)
Ever hour, beginning at 10:30 a.m.; last hunt is at 3:30 p.m.
Adding more fun to the Spring Art Hop mix, you can enjoy the following entertainment schedule:
10:30 & 11:30 a.m. — Children’s Storytime in the Sigourney Cheek Literary Garden
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — Piano in the Museum of Art Drawing Room
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Music by the National Museum of African-American Music in the Herb Garden
12 p.m. — Featured Performance: Bright Star Theatre brings Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk to life in its production of Once Upon a Time.
If you get hungry during the day, Cheekwood’s Pineapple Room will serve lunch from 11 .am. – 2 p.m. (reservations recommended by calling 615-352-4859). In additions, several Nashville-area food trucks will be on site, including Grilled Cheeserie, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, Crepe A Diem, Rolling Feast, Itty Bitty Donuts, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream and more.
Make the most out of Spring Art Hop by planning wisely ahead of time. Save time at the gate by purchasing your tickets in advance. Spring Art Hop admission for Cheekwood members is $6 adults, free ages 17 and younger; non-member admission is $18 adults, $11 ages 3 – 17, free ages 2 and younger.
Plan to arrive early as traffic around Cheekwood is extremely heavy on Spring Art Hop day. Cheekwood recommends arriving at least one hour in advance of the egg hunt time of your choosing.
