Summer T-ball will soon be here, and now’s the time to sign up your kids. Registration for Goodlettsville Parks’ summer recreation T-ball league runs April 16 – May 13. The league runs June 12 – July 28.
For parents of young children new to kids’ sports, T-ball is a team sport that simplifies baseball and softball. It dates back to the 1950s. It introduces children ages 4 – 8 to ballgame skills while having fun. Instead of a traditional pitcher, the ball is placed on an elevated tee so little batters have an easier shot at hitting the ball.

Open to ages 4 – 5, the league focuses on learning fundamentals and having fun. The $40 registration fee ($65 non-residents) includes a jersey, hat, trophy and six games.
