Where Every Family Matters

Siskin Children’s Institute Now Open

A new medical provider in town offers a broad range of services for children with special needs.

Chattanooga-based Siskin Children's Institute expands its services to children with special needs with a brand-new Nashville location that is now open.

Siskin's services range from developmental pediatrics, early education and intervention, and therapy, including applied behavior analysis therapy for children with an autism spectrum disorder. James Van Decar, M.D., FAAP, a neurodevelopmental pediatrician with more than 30 years of experiences serving children with developmental disabilities, leads the Nashville center.

Siskin takes an interdisciplinary approach to the diagnoses, treatment and support for children with developmental disabilities. Its team consists of specialists in the areas of developmental pediatrics, speech pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavior psychology and applied behavior analysis.

“In our focus on increasing access to care for families, expanding services outside of the Chattanooga
region is key,” says Derek Bullard, president and CEO of Siskin Children’s Institute. “Our team of medical
and behavioral professionals are excited to serve families in the Nashville region.”

Siskin Children's Institute is located in the Medical Plaza at 2201 Murphy Ave., Ste. 306, Nashville. Office hours are Mon – Thu 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Call 615-730-8095 or visit siskin.org/Nashville.
