Bron Launsby lived in Middle Tennessee for 10 years before moving away several years ago, but he’s happy to be back to start a new adventure for the community. The St. Louis native and father of six (his kids range in age from 4 – 18) left his career as a corporate retailer for Cracker Barrel and Kirklands to become a franchise partner in Sky Zone, the creator of the world’s first indoor trampoline park.
There are currently more than 200 Sky Zone locations worldwide, and come early next year, a new location will open in Murfreesboro. It will be the only Sky Zone location in Middle Tennessee and in all of Tennessee, too.
“Sky Zone is the ultimate entertainment destination where families can create lasting memories while ditching screen time and focusing on family fun,” says Launsby.
Trampolines will consume 20 percent of Murfreesboro’s Sky Zone, Launsby says. Other attractions will include a Warped Wall, Zip Line, Warrior Courses, Wipe Out, Rolling Log and more. A multi-use sport court will host volleyball, basketball, soccer and dodge ball.
“Our goal is to be a place for people of all ages,” says Launsby. “Safety is paramount to what we do, from how our equipment is designed to the training of our employees,” he adds.
The facility will include designated times just for toddlers and preschoolers.
There will be several admission options, including a 90-minute timed play, daily passes and a monthly membership (prices to be announced).
While the facility won’t be open until late January/early February, birthday party reservations are being taken.
Sky Zone is located at 1220 N.W. Broad St., Murfreesboro. Learn more at skyzone.com/murfreesboro.
