Where Every Family Matters

Spring Hill’s Goat Yoga

While it's new to the area, there are only a few more available Sweeney Hill Farm's goat yoga classes left. Sign up before it's too late!

The Sweeney family want to share their love of farm life and … goats … with goat yoga! Ginnie Sweeney's family farm, Sweeney Hill Farm, offers goat yoga classes at Early’s Honey Stand, 5075 Main St. in Spring Hill. Currently, goat yoga classes are available on Saturdays and Sundays for $20 per yogi. However, she's got one tomorrow for the Fourth of July from 12 – 1 p.m. But, with rain in the forecast, you should know that all classes are weather permitting. There are just a few more classes left available to sign up for this month. Keep an eye out for more events on the Facebook page.

Participate at your own risk (a liavility waiver is required to be signed before participating). Know that the goats' hooves may be sharp at times, too. So, T-shirts are recommended.

Bring your own water, towel, bug spray, sunscreen or anything else you may need. Yoga mats, which are actually just farm mats, are available, but you are welcome to bring your own.

There's More!

Did you know Sweeney Hill Farm is more than goat yoga? Before the baby goats were born back in the spring, Sweeney offered an intro to beekeeping class for ages 5 and older as well as other events. However, she notes on Facebook that she may take the next year (2020) off from beekeeping classes and goat yoga to focus more on family.
