Springhouse Theatre Company in Smyrna announces its 2017 – 2018 season. The family-friendly lineup kicks off with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Sept. 15 – Oct. 1) followed by Smoke on the Mountain (Nov. 10 – Dec. 3), Arsenic and Old Lace (Feb. 9 – 25, 2018) and Baskerville: a Sherlock Holmes Mystery (April 13 – 29, 2018).
Auditions
In addition to the lineup, the company announces auditions for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in July. Audition for Belle on Saturday, July 8 between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (e-mail Rachael Parker at rachaelparker1224@gmail.com with up to three one-hour time slots you’re available). Be ready to sing, deliver a one-minute Disney princess inspired monologue and dance, too.
Furthermore, auditions for all other roles (Babbett has been precast) take place Sunday, July 9 from 5 – 9 p.m. and Monday, July 10 from 6 – 10 p.m. Be ready to sing, read from the script and dance, too.
