Creative kids can get their juices flowing at The Starry Night Studio in Smyrna. Started by New York Robin Kalata — who’s love of coloring, doodling, drawing and painting helped inspire young artists — focuses on teaching creative influence through summer camps, after-school programs, home schooling as well as and teen/adult studio programs. Their grand opening is Saturday, April 2 from 1 – 4 p.m. and will include music, food, freebies and all sorts of art activities.
The studios 10 weeks of summer camps covers a variety of themes and costs $145 per week ($25 registration fee) and run from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The after-school programs costs $75 per week ($25 registration fee and $89 art kit fee). The teen studio is every Friday night from 6 – 9 p.m. and costs $15 per class. The studio also covers a trending adult activity, coloring! Every Wednesday night from 7 – 9 p.m., parents can color on pages from Robin Loves to Color and learn to relax with this easy activity. Cost is $12 per class.
