“STARS ON STAGE” AUDITIONS

Your little singer can be a part of the show as WCPR holds auditions for its "Stars on Stage" show choir for ages 5 - 17.

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) holds auditions for “Stars on Stage” (formerly Rising Stars) on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. “Stars on Stage” is an audition-based exhibition show choir that stems from the WCPR Arts Education and Outreach programs. The vibrant ensemble consists of 15 – 25 singer/dancers ages 9 – 17. In addition, a "Little Stars" ensemble (ages 5 – 8) has the chance to shine at local performances, too. To audition, prepare a well-known pop or musical theatre song to sing acapella. Youth selected to be a part of this talented group will have the opportunity to fine tune their craft with intensive instruction and numerous public performance opportunities such as festivals, fairs, parades, nursing homes and other events throughout the community and beyond. Auditions take place at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road, Franklin.
