Student Art Show at Monthaven April 1 – 21

Head to Monthaven in Hendersonville to appreciate student art in this free exhibit.

Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center in Hendersonville host The 47th annual James B. Hawkins Sumner County Student Art Show now through Friday, April 21.

What to Know

The exhibit is open to all Sumner County middle and high school students. Each school enters up to 10 pieces of artwork in five categories: drawing, painting, 3D, Mixed Media and Animation.

Admission is free and the exhibition is open to the public. Donations are accepted. The 2023 exhibits’ premier sponsor is Nossi College of Art which provides scholarships for the winners.

AWARD AND RECEPTION TIMES:

  • Middle School: Sunday, April 2 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • High School: Sunday, April 2 – 2 to 4 p.m.

Gallery Hours:

  • Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
