SUMNER PLAYS Challenge

A creative, fast-paced theatrical adventure for young thespians.

Sumner County youth can act fast on a fun theatrical adventure taking place one day only. Actors Point Theatre hosts SUMNER PLAYS Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 3. It takes place at Volunteer State Community College (1480 Nashville Pike, Gallatin).

FAST-PACED THEATRICAL FUN

Open to middle and high-school students, SUMNER PLAYS Challenge is a one-day workshop tasking participants with casting, memorization, rehearsing, producing and performing one-act plays and musical theater numbers.

Kids will be on teams led by mentors. Area actors/actresses, directors, choreographers with professional theater experience serve as workshop mentors.

The workshop starts at 9:30 a.m. with the public performance beginning at 6:30 p.m. Registration is $20 per student. Lunch and dinner provided.
