Where Every Family Matters

Take a Farm Tour at Nash Family Creamery

Visit the farm, working dairy, creamery and stay for lunch!

Got milk? Nash Family Creamery does — and they want to share the process with you. The creamery — owned by the Nash Family — has been in the dairy business for nearly 100 years, according to the website. Originally located in Central California, the family relocated to Chapel Hill, Tennessee in 2013 with the intention of selling dairy products directly to consumers. In 2021, the creamery opened its doors selling ice cream. In 2021, Nash Cheese Company started as well, using fresh milk from the dairy to produce farmstead artisan cheeses.

Farm Tour at Nash Family Creamery

Kids love seeing how things are made and connecting the questions in their brains with what really happens. The dairy farm offers Farm Tours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, in general at 10 or 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. The educational tours are designed to share the “beauty, hard work and science” that goes into nurturing cows and making dairy products. Experience the housing barn, milk barn and cheese production facility. After your tour, stop at the creamery for an ice cream taste or grab a sandwich. Menu items are here. See all of the ice cream flavors available here.

Nash Family Creamery is located at 4019 Hwy. 41A N in Chapel Hill, 37034. Tours are a family friendly where you can see the cows and the milking process.
