With the hustle and bustle of life with kids — especially if you’re new parents — keeping up with everything around the house can start falling through the cracks. There’s an app for that now, too!
Introducing TAKL, an on-demand home services app — think Uber but for household chores. It just launched in Nashville, with plans to go nationwide in the near future.
Simply log in to the app and select the chore that needs tackling — from replacing your car’s windshield wipers to mounting flat screen TVs to caulking to ironing laundry to cleaning baseboards in the house to even walking your dog.
TAKL will send one of its service providers to complete the chore, and you pay for the service through the app. Prices range from $50 to less than $200 depending on the service, and the providers have gone through extensive background checks.
Currently, there are more than 600 chores listed to choose from with more than 3,000 local providers. The app lists all aspects of what the provider will be responsible to do as well as any requirements from your end. Download TAKL from the app store on your device or visit takl.com.
