Belcourt Theatre Closes Jan. 1-27 In Preparation for Sundance Film Fest

The venue will reopen January 28 with 2021 Sundance Film Festival programming.

Nashville's Belcourt Theatre will temporarily close, starting this Friday, January 1 through Wednesday, January 27.

The venue will reopen on Thursday, January 28 with selections from the 2021 Sundance Film Festival as an official Sundance Satellite screen partner.

Over the course of the Festival, Jan 28 – Feb 2, the Belcourt will screen a selection of films from the 2021 program. More details on those selections will be announced soon. Tickets to the Belcourt screenings will go on sale Thu, Jan 7 (as will tickets to virtual screenings of the full Festival program).

Throughout the closure, the Belcourt will continue to offer films virtually and continue to plan for future programming. When in-person presentations resume, venue staff will continue to keep in place all the effective Covid-19 safety precautions established throughout 2020.
