Harpeth Hotel Offers Valentine’s Events for Adults

Now through the end of February, 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails is offering a specialty prix fixe Winter Warmer menu. Located inside The Harpeth Hotel in Franklin, the property is also hosting a jam-packed weekend of Valentine’s Day festivities, whether you’ll be celebrating with a special someone or your besties!

Lovers can plan to make a staycation of it by booking the “Love Story Package.” Available throughout the month of February, it includes complimentary champagne, house-made truffles, a $50 dining credit, nightly turndown service and a late check-out based on availability. Here’s what else the fancy Franklin hotel has up its sleeves this February:

Pasta & Cocktail Making Class at 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails

February 14 at 6:30 p.m.

On Valentine’s Day, The Harpeth is offering a ticketed pasta and cocktail-making class led by Executive Chef Thomas Tuggle and a house mixologist. Attendees will mix up Franklin’s Valentine’s Day Fizz to sip on then learn how to make a ricotta gnocchi. The event will begin with welcome champagne and guests will take home a recipe card to make the delicious dish again. Cost is $140 for 2 people.

Valentine’s Day Dining Specials at 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails

February 14 through 16

Those looking for a sweet and special night out on Valentine’s Day weekend should book a table at 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails! In addition to the regular menu, lovebirds can enjoy the specials the restaurant is offering for the holiday which include Truffle Arancini, Scallops and Shrimp Agnolotti, Prime Rib and a Chocolate Heart dessert.

Wagner Family of Wine featuring Caymus Pairing Dinner

February 16 at 5 p.m.

The Harpeth’s Executive Chef Thomas Tuggle will be hosting an interactive dinner with experts on Caymus from the Wagner Family of Wine. Guests will be guided through the four-course dinner where each dish was prepared with a specific wine pairing in mind. Menu highlights include Grilled Octopus paired with Mer Soleil Chardonnay, Lemon and Thyme Gnocchi paired with Caymus California Cab among others.

Winter Warmer Menu at 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails

Now through February 28

Available exclusively in the Bar & Lounge at 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails, this three-course prix fixe menu features cold weather classics like a NY Strip Steak or Arctic Salmon and includes either a specialty cocktail or any cocktail made with Monk’s Road Bourbon. Diners can finish their meal with a sweet dessert and choose to indulge in Carrot Cake or Pecan Crème Brûlée. Cost is $55 per guest.
