Come together, right now, over The Beatles! On Sunday, March 24, kids and families can rock out when The Rock and Roll Playhouse plays the music of The Beatles & more for kids. This special event is a benefit for the Out of the Woods Foundation and Monroe Carell Jr. Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt. Out of the Woods is a 501(C3) organization that supports children recovering from brain and spinal cord injuries.
The Music of the Beatles
On March 24, the doors will open at the Brooklyn Bowl (925 3rd Ave. N, Nashville) at 11 a.m. Starting at 12 p.m., special guest Jessie Baylin will open to perform songs from her children’s record, Strawberry Wind. Next, the house band. will take over with Beatles tunes. In addition to music, families can enjoy face painting, balloon art, special guest appearances and bowling.
About Rock and Roll Playhouse
The Rock and Roll Playhouse is the largest, kid-friendly live concert series in the nation. The series is hosted at music venues across the country. Performing songs created by iconic musicians from rock and roll history, the Rock and Roll Playhouse band offers games, movement, stories and the chance for kids and parents to rock out to iconic music together.
For shows, The Rock and Roll Playhouse turns down the volume for kids, but little ones may be most comfortable with hearing protection earmuffs.
